Mohammad Rashedul Haque, BNP’s International Affairs Secretary, congratulated the committee, expressing confidence that it will strengthen BNP’s organizational efforts in the Australia/Oceania region and promote the party’s ideals among the Bangladeshi diaspora. Noting that around 50,000 Bangladeshis reside in Australia, he emphasized ZCF’s role in building a robust social and political presence for BNP. Haque also highlighted the committee’s potential to counter misinformation, promote positive narratives about Bangladesh, and mobilize a strong expatriate voter base for BNP leader Tarique Rahman in the upcoming national election.
Australia BNP President AFM Tawhidul Islam welcomed the committee, stating, “In today’s digital age, false propaganda against BNP poses a significant challenge. I am confident that Zia Cyber Force will effectively counter misinformation and uphold the truth. This committee will play a pivotal role in advancing Bangladesh’s interests and achieving BNP’s objectives.”
Australia BNP General Secretary Mohammad Haider Ali extended his congratulations, saying, “We warmly welcome this dynamic committee, comprising both young and experienced members. With widespread online negativity against BNP, ZCF’s role in Australia/Oceania is crucial. This platform will effectively combat false narratives and promote BNP’s vision and leadership.”
Mohammad Ferdous Ami, International Affairs Secretary of the Volunteer Team’s Central Executive Committee, praised the committee members for their long-standing activism in BNP’s movements and online advocacy. “This approval will inspire them to work relentlessly. With the upcoming election in view, ZCF will be instrumental in building a strong expatriate voter base for BNP’s ‘Sheaf of Paddy’ symbol,” he said.
