According to the police, Lokman left behind a suicide note written on a notepad before taking his life. In the note, he mentioned that his wife did not love him and that financial difficulties led to constant unrest in their family. He also expressed fear that his wife might leave him. The note indicates that these emotional distresses drove him to take the extreme step.
Jewel Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kalapara Thana, said, “The body has been recovered and sent to the morgue for an autopsy. Legal action will be taken if any complaints are received.”
