Mohammad Ashraf Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhanga Thana, said, “Local residents informed the police after spotting the body floating in the bill this morning. We promptly recovered the body, which was in a partially decomposed state. As of 5 PM on Sunday, the identity of the deceased could not be confirmed. Efforts are ongoing to establish the identity, and the body will be sent for an autopsy.”
