According to RAB, as part of their ongoing operations, a skilled team from RAB-13, CPC-1, Dinajpur, conducted a raid in the early hours of August 17 based on confidential intelligence. The operation took place in the 7th Ward of Komolpur Union Parishad, near the field of Bargraam Government Primary School in Kotwali Thana, Dinajpur. During the raid, a foreign pistol and a magazine loaded with five live rounds were recovered from a locked trunk in the bedroom of the accused, Md. Morsalin. Two individuals, Md. Moslem (35) and Md. Mursalin Babu (28), both sons of Abdur Jabbar from the Chaithunkhuri area of Bargraam, Dinajpur Sadar, were arrested at the scene.
The seized evidence, along with the detained suspects, has been handed over to the relevant police station for further legal proceedings.
