Police in Gazipur recovered the body of a missing woman from near Chandpur Forest Office. The body was found this morning (Sunday, July 21) at Chandpur Forest Office.
The deceased is a 30-year-old woman. Police have taken the body to Rajshahi Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College for autopsy.
According to locals and police sources, the woman went missing from Gazipur's Kalikapur area on Saturday night. Her body was found in the forest near Chandpur Forest Office. Police suspect foul play and have launched an investigation.
Abdul Mannan, an official from Kalikapur Police Station, stated that the woman's identity has not yet been confirmed, and an investigation is ongoing. The body was discovered by locals who informed the police.
Police also recovered a mobile phone and a bag from the scene. The woman's family has been informed, and further legal procedures are being followed.
