Israel has acknowledged that Iranian missiles struck its military infrastructure. On Tuesday (July 8), an Israeli military official confirmed that some of Iran’s missiles caused damage to their facilities.
Speaking to Reuters on condition of anonymity, the official stated that Iran’s missiles “rarely” hit their targets. The military infrastructure that was struck remains operational. However, the official did not provide details of the attack or specify which military sites were affected.
On the night of June 13, Israel launched its first attack on Iran, triggering a 12-day war between the two sides. Until now, Israel had claimed that Iran targeted only civilian areas and released casualty figures limited to civilians. No information was disclosed regarding military personnel killed or injured, or the extent of damage to military infrastructure.
