A passenger reported that the train's lights went out as it approached Bijoy Sarani. At that time, the AC was not functioning. The train continued to Farmgate Station, where passengers protested. After that, the train did not move further. It resumed service only after five to six minutes.
The passenger mentioned that no announcement was made regarding the issue, but the train started moving again after a brief delay.
Mohammad Ahsanullah Sharifee, the Operation and Communication Manager of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), stated that the train service was temporarily halted at Farmgate due to a technical fault. He clarified that the issue was resolved within minutes, and normal operations resumed.
