Yasin Ferdous Murad, President of Dhaka District Jubo Dal, has sharply criticized the Islami Andolan Bangladesh and the National Citizens Party (NCP). He stated, “Conspiracy never lasts. Those who have indulged in conspiracies have vanished from politics.”
He made these remarks on Thursday (July 17) during a rally organized by Dhaka District Jubo Dal to protest the deteriorating law and order situation and attempts to destabilize the country through conspiracies.
Murad said, “Those who speak against BNP should reflect on who has contributed how much to establishing democracy in Bangladesh. If BNP’s founder, the announcer of independence, Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, had not established multi-party democracy, many would not have had the opportunity to engage in politics today. If BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia had not led an uncompromising movement against autocracy for nine years, the country would not have been freed from Ershad’s dictatorship. And if Acting Chairman Tariq Rahman had not waged a 17-year struggle against the fascist Sheikh Hasina government, the people’s uprising of 2024 would not have happened.”
He added, “The country is drowning in a tide of misinformation, and the source of all this propaganda is Jamaat-Shibir’s stronghold. They lack public support, so they spread misinformation against BNP to muddy the waters and delay elections. Like in the past, Jamaat’s conspiracies will not succeed this time either.”
Murad further said, “Terrorists don’t belong to any party. But we were shocked when we saw misinformation being spread about the Mitford murder case. Now the police say it was not a case of extortion but a business dispute. Jamaat must apologize for this propaganda.”
Among others, the rally was attended by Dhaka District Jubo Dal General Secretary Aiyub Khan, district leaders Haji Delwar Hossain Masum, Mokarram Hossain Sajjad, Rakib Dewan Roki, Ibadul Haque Zahid, Khurram Chowdhury Tutul, Md. Suruzzaman, Tapan Molla, Fazlul Haque Belayeti, Year Md. Yasin Sarker Shaon, Ishtiaque Ahmed Faruk, Shahidul Islam Shahid, Tajul Islam, and others.
