Chhatra Dal Leader Demands Immediate Arrest and Punishment for Those Involved in Businessman Chand Sohag’s Murder

Nasir Uddin, the general secretary of the central committee of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, has demanded the immediate arrest and punishment of those responsible for the murder of businessman Chand Sohag in Chawkbazar, emphasizing that no one should escape justice regardless of their political affiliations.

In a post on his verified Facebook account on Friday (July 11), Nasir Uddin wrote, “Every individual responsible for the Chawkbazar murder must be arrested immediately. No one should be allowed to get away with a crime, regardless of their political identity. There must be no negligence in the investigation and collection of evidence to ensure the maximum punishment for the murderous terrorists.”

He added, “We demand the harshest punishment for the killers. We also demand legal assistance and security for the victim’s family. Law enforcement agencies must take a strict role in suppressing crime.” Addressing the issue of shielding criminals, Nasir Uddin stated, “Those involved in BNP or its affiliated organizations must not provide any support to criminals. If anyone tries to engage in criminal activities under the guise of party affiliation, we will resist them.”
