State Honors to Be Awarded to Two Teachers Killed in Uttara Jet Crash

 The government has decided to award state honors to two teachers who lost their lives in the tragic fighter jet crash at Milestone School and College in Uttara. The decision was made during an Advisory Council meeting held on Thursday.

The meeting was presided over by Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus and took place at the Chief Advisor’s Office in Tejgaon on Thursday morning.

At the beginning of the session, a condolence proposal was adopted in memory of the victims of the Milestone School and College plane crash. One minute of silence was observed to honor the departed souls, followed by prayers for the victims.

According to a press release from the Chief Advisor’s Press Wing, the government has pledged to provide all necessary support for the families of the deceased and for the medical treatment of the injured. The Ministry of Education will coordinate with the school authorities to determine the next steps.

During the meeting, a formal decision was made to confer state honors on the two deceased teachers. Details regarding the nature of the honors will be finalized soon.

Additionally, the council announced that special prayers for the deceased and injured will be held at all religious institutions across the country on Friday. The Ministry of Religious Affairs has been tasked with coordinating these arrangements.
