Marzia's husband, Jahid Pada, stated that on Friday night, she had asked him to bring fuchka. Due to heavy work pressure at the fish market, he returned home late without the snack, carrying only fish. Enraged, Marzia took her mobile after finishing fish-cutting and washing. When he advised her not to use the phone late at night, she grew angrier and moved to the adjacent balcony to sleep. The next morning, Jahid found her hanging with an orna wrapped around her neck.
Mahmud Hasan, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Mahipur Police Station, confirmed the recovery of the body. A case under the Unnatural Death (UD) section will be filed. Autopsy preparations are underway, and further legal actions are in process.
