Google Introduces New Features for Gmail Inbox Management

জিমেইলের ইনবক্স ব্যবস্থাপনায় নতুন সুবিধা চালু করেছে গুগল

Google has launched a new feature called "Manage Subscriptions" to streamline Gmail inbox management. Many users subscribe to email services for personal or professional purposes, but the influx of promotional or advertising emails often makes it challenging to locate important messages. This new feature allows Gmail users to store all active subscription email addresses in one place, making it easier to track how many emails a particular sender has sent. Users can now identify and unsubscribe from unwanted email subscriptions with ease.

According to Google, the "Manage Subscriptions" feature enables users to quickly and efficiently identify and delete unnecessary messages cluttering their inbox. By clicking on a sender’s name, users can view a comprehensive list of emails sent by that sender. Additionally, the feature allows users to unsubscribe from unwanted subscriptions directly from the list without needing to visit the sender’s website. To access this feature, users can select the "Manage Subscriptions" option from the menu on the left side of Gmail. Google has announced that the feature will be rolled out gradually over the coming weeks. It will also be available for Google Workspace and Workspace Individual users. In addition, Google has recently introduced a feature powered by the Gemini chatbot, which provides summaries of lengthy emails. This feature displays key points in a summary card at the beginning of an email, allowing users to grasp essential information without reading the entire message. However, this feature is not yet available to all users.
