Syeda Rizwana Hasan, the advisor for Water Resources and Environment, Forest, and Climate Change of the interim government, stated that if any administrative negligence is found in the attack on NCP leaders and workers in Gopalganj, necessary actions will be taken against those responsible.Speaking to journalists at Saidpur Airport in Nilphamari on Wednesday (July 16) afternoon, she made these remarks. Syeda Rizwana Hasan said, “I have heard that the administration claims everything is under control. However, if we find that the administration provided false information or showed irresponsibility, it will be thoroughly investigated, and we will determine why such negligence occurred.” She further stated, “The trial of Awami League has already begun. One phase of the process was the public’s reaction, which has already taken place. Now, judicial proceedings are underway. The court will decide their punishment.” She added, “When we took responsibility, neither the judiciary nor the administration was with us. However, we have brought them together and initiated the judicial process, which has been broadcast live. We want to establish tribunals as quickly as possible to complete the trials, ensuring justice is served during our tenure.” Present at the event were Asif Nazrul, the law advisor of the interim government, Mohammad Nayiruzzaman, the district administrator of Nilphamari, and students from the anti-discrimination movement.
