Nahid Islam, the convener of the National Citizens Party (NCP), has issued a stern warning that if the government fails to publish the July Declaration and Charter by August 3, the NCP will take to the streets again with students and the public. He made these remarks during a rally in Magura on Thursday.

Speaking at the event, Nahid Islam stated, "We want to see the July Declaration and Charter by August 3. On that day, we will be at the Shaheed Minar. If the government fails to announce the July Declaration within this time, we will mobilize students and people across the country for another movement.

As part of the NCP’s ‘July March’ program on its tenth day, party leaders arrived in Magura. The march began at 1:20 PM from the Magura Sadar Upazila Parishad premises, passing through Bhayana Mor, College Road, Chourangi Mor, Syed Atar Ali Road, and Dhaka Road Bus Stand, before concluding back at Bhayana Mor. A brief rally was held around 2:30 PM, where Nahid Islam and NCP organizer Sadia Farzana Dina delivered speeches. Standing at the base of the Independence Monument at Bhayana Mor on the Dhaka-Khulna highway, Nahid Islam said, "Our struggle is for a discrimination-free, democratic, and corruption-free Bangladesh, free from extortion and terrorism. That struggle is far from over. We are here to spread that message." He further announced that the NCP would rapidly expand its organizational presence in Magura and urged the people of Magura to remain vocal against corruption and extortion. Highlighting the sacrifices made during the July uprising, Nahid Islam noted, "Ten people from Magura became martyrs in the July mass uprising. We must collectively honor the blood of those sons. They gave their lives for a new Bangladesh, to rebuild the nation. That is why we have taken to the streets."
The march was joined by key NCP leaders, including Hasnat Abdullah, chief organizer for the southern region; Sarjis Alam, chief organizer for the northern region; Nasiruddin Patowari, chief coordinator; Samantha Sharmin, senior joint convener; and Tasnim Zara, senior joint member secretary. After the march and rally, the NCP leaders proceeded toward Narail.
